Our Vision

Rosenwald Elementary School will strive to become a school of excellence for all students. Through an effective multi-tiered behavioral and academic support (MTSS) and response to intervention (RTI) systems in place, students will make both academic and behavioral gains. Stakeholders will become informed decision makers. Educational technology will be utilized in classrooms allowing for the creation of student-centered classrooms where students feel safe and acquire the skills that will allow them to compete with their peers.

Our Mission

Rosenwald Elementary School is committed to educating the whole child while providing a safe and nurturing environment that focuses on building strong literacy and math foundational skills, promoting a passion for life-long learning, and instilling positive character traits, most importantly, respect self and others.

I am excited to return and lead my alma mater in its quest to increase student achievement, and provide social and emotional support for our scholars. At Rosenwald Elementary we will provide a safe and nurturing environment that will allow our students to grow academically and socially as we prepare them for the global community. At Rosenwald our focus for the 2019-2020 school year will be the implementation of a multi-tiered support system (MTSS) that seeks to provide varying levels of academic and behavioral supports. The inspiration for our motto C.H.A.M.P.S was inspired by the late boxing great Muhammed Ali. Ali was once quoted as saying "I hated every minute of training, but I said don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion". We want our students to realize that the classroom is their training ground, and constructive struggle and adversity is preparation for greatness. We have a long road to travel, but rest assured these Mighty Trojans will be CHAMPIONS!!
