At Rosenwald Elementary School our focus for the 2016-2017 school year is to create bonds with stakeholders that extend beyond the school day. Within the walls of Rosenwald our focus is also reflected in this year's motto Education - How CHAMPS Are Made. The inspiration for our motto comes from the late, boxing great Muhammed Ali. In his words, "I hated every minutes of training, but I said don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." We want our students to realize that the classroom is where their training takes place, that adversity is preparation for greatness.
Here at Rosenwald we have a ways to go and a mountain to climb. However, if we take it one day at a time, and always put what is best for our students first, I believe we will get there.
